Race Day Information

EVENT VILLAGE: Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch, RM12 4PL


STARTING LINE/PENS:  The race start is divided into race pens. Please line up in the appropriate pen according to your ability, if you expect to be competitive in your race head to the front so you don’t get held up on the start line, if this is your first event please enter a pen a little further back.


RACE START: Please follow signs to the race start area in the event village. The race starts at 9:30am so please be in place in plenty of time.


ROUTE INFORMATION: The run will be well signed by marshals and takes place on a mixture of closed roads, inside parks (on tarmac) and on pavement. A lead vehicle will lead the front runners. You can view detailed route maps here.


RESULTS: Your results from the 2019 event will be available on Sunday 6th October 2019 shortly after the race concludes.


PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded for 1st/2nd/3rd male and female finishers


FIRST AID: We have first aid points out around the courses and in the race village. Please alert a marshall if you or any other runner is having difficulties, our first aid providers will be mobile over the whole course.


FINISH: The race will finish in Harrow Lodge Park where it started and you will be handed a medal, goody bag and bottle of water by our finish line volunteers. First aid will be available here if you need it.


RACE NUMBERS AND TIMING CHIPS: Race numbers and timing chips will be available to collect from the race village on the morning of the race.


BAGGAGE: We provide a secure bag store in the Event village inside Harrow Lodge Park which will be attended at all times by our volunteers. Items are left at your own risk.




TOILETS: There are plenty of toilets available in the Event village, as well as portable toilets along the route.


HEADPHONES: We discourage the use of headphones in while running around the course.


WATER: Water stations are provided at regular intervals across the route and will be manned by volunteers.
