Taking part in the half marathon or 10K will help us to continue providing vital services for the community in Havering, at a time when things are tougher for everyone.

Where: Abbs Cross Sports Centre field, Abbs Cross Lane, Hornchurch, RM12 4YV.
Pricing: Half Marathon £30 Unaffiliated, £28 Affiliated / 10K: £24 Unaffiliated, £22 Affiliated.
Entry on the Day: Entry on the day will not be available at this event.
Age Requirements: Participants must be aged 17 or over on the day of the event.
Registration: From 07:45.
Bib Numbers: For collection at registration on the day only, numbers will not be posted. To be fastened to the front of your top using safety pins provided at registration, your number should be visible at all times. Your timing chip is attached to the back of your number and should not be removed.
Start Waves: There will be no mass start this year, you will be allocated a start wave between 08:30 and 09:45. Waves will be allocated according to pace - when registering online you will be asked to submit your estimated finish time. If you would like to run with a friend and/or family members, please ensure you submit the same estimated finish time(s).
The time of your start wave will be communicated to you in your pre-event email, which you will receive during the week prior to the event. Half marathon participants will be in earlier waves, with 10K participants starting after them.
Route: The route exits the grounds onto Abbs Cross Lane, and heads towards Rainham. It takes in Ingrebourne Hill and Hornchurch Country parks before exiting out onto the Upminster Lanes. You'll run through Parklands park and the Ingrbourne Valley, before passing back through Hornchurch Country Park and onto Abbs Cross Lane towards the sports centre finish line.
Licensing: This race is licensed with UK Athletics. Results will be submitted to Run Britain within a week of the race.
Pacers: Pacers will be not be offered at this event.
Parking: There will be free car parking in Harrow Lodge Park (RM12 4QZ) or Hornchurch Sports Centre (RM11 1JU) and the surrounding streets. This will be a maximum of 10 minutes walk from the event village.
There are an extremely limited number of car parking spaces available at the Abbs Cross Sports Centre (RM12 4YB). These must be pre-purchased at £10 a car - The money raised will be donated to the Abbs Cross secondary school who share the site, who will use it to purchase sports equipment for their pupils. These can be purchased here.
Bag Drop: Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, you can leave your belongings with us inside the sports hall. Use the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number. The bag drop will be attended at all times by our volunteers. Items are left at your own risk.
Toilets: Toilets will be available in the event village in addition to portable toilets along the route.
Marshals: Marshals will be present on the course during the event.
Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and distance markers where necessary.
Water Stations: There will be water stations on the route and at the finish.
Results: Results will be uploaded live to our website (internet connection permitting) and communicated to all pre-registered participants within 24 hours of the event.
Medals: All finishers will receive a medal on completing the race.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners overall for both males and females.
